Welcome to Stellar Space
Stellar Space blog is made to distribute the unknown knowledge regarding space science which we normally don't find in books and also not in any movies. this blog contains many details regarding Planets, stars, Exoplanets, Cosmic voids, Dark matter, Gravitational  waves, Cosmology, Space horizons and many more things.
Let's start with Space Fact series...
Space Facts: Part 1
1. What is Goldilock Zone:
Goldilock zone is also called Habitable Zone. it is the zone in which humans can survive. Earth is situated in Goldilock zone of our solar system. Many other solar systems too have Goldilock Zone. For example Kepler 186F planet is also situated in Goldilock zone of a distant solar system. Space Scientists usually try to find such planets because these planets have maximum possibility of holding life.
2. Exoplanets:
Exoplanets are planets which do not reside in any of the solar system and freely wander in universe, certain planets are usually found by techniques such as Gravitational Microlensing. Initially these planets were part of their solar systems but due to celestial changes they get thrown of the solar system into the universe. Take a look at some of the Exoplanets discovered :
1. GLIESE 581 g
2. GLIESE 667 Cc
3. Kelper 22 b
4. HD 40307 g
5. HD 85512 b
6. Pegasi 51 : First Exoplanet discovered by Astronomers.
3. Brown Dwarf:
We all know that stars are of different colors and types. Certain stars are brown in color which are called Brown Dwarfs. One of the brown dwarf discovered is Wise Jaw 08551083071442.5 or WO855. It is 7.2 light-years away from earth and it is the 4th nearest star to earth. its temperature is said to be -54 F to -4 F.
4. Dwarf Planets:
Our solar systems contains small dwarf planets, we all know that Pluto which earlier was considered to be a planet is now considered to be Dwarf planet. Still there are debates going on in scientific community to consider Pluto as a dwarf planet or not.
Some other dwarf planets are:
Ceres: Diameter 1003 Km, Revolution Period : 4.6 Earth years.
Aeris or Zeba: Diameter 2397 Km, its moon is called Disnomia.
Pluto: We all have heard of only 1 Pluto's moon Sharon but there are other two moons discovered too, they are Nicks and Hydra.
5. Venus:
The atmosphere on Venus is 90 times than that of Earth. Russian spacecraft Vanera 9 survived on Venus surface for 53 minutes which is longest record for any spacecraft on Venus.
